Atlantic Sailing Conference Hopes To Have Lasting Impact on the Sport

We’ve heard from our membership including Club volunteers, parents, coaches and sailors that they’re interested in hearing how to drive more members, improve programming and enhance your sailing experience.

With that in mind Sail Nova Scotia has put together an excellent Atlantic Sailing Conference to be held on Saturday, November 22 at Citadel High School in Halifax.

Our key note speaker is Nicholas Hayes, author of Saving Sailing which explores the decline of sailing participation in the US and offers original and thought provoking ideas to grow the sport.

You'll get a chance to participate in several sessions and network with fellow sailors who are active volunteers, sailing coaches, parents, instructors, etc. from across Atlantic Canada. The conference poster below has the complete schedule.

The conference fee is $25 for adults and $15 for students. Fees include lunch.

To register simply visit our website here.

Looking forward to seeing you at the event.
